the Modern Arch Quartet is a research and design platform focused on architecture founded in 2010 by Andrea Iorio and Elisa Petriccioli.
Each project is always intended as an opportunity to investigate some recurring themes of architecture: the idea of stratification, as a tool
to reinterpret the relationship between interventions and the character of places; the design of public spaces as an inlay, where to recompose traces, alignments and physical signs together with stories, memories and figures from collective imaginaries; the continuous confrontation between urban strategy and architectural composition in the design and regeneration of small and large parts of the city.
